Sherry L. Browning, NP
Sherry L. Browning, NP has practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner at PromptMed since December 2000. She obtained a Master's in Science from Indiana University School of Nursing and is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurse Credentialing Center. She also holds a certification in Occupational Health Nursing from the American Board for Occupational Health Nurses, Inc. Sherry received her undergraduate degree from Marian College in Indianapolis and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the National Honor Society for Nurses.
Prior to joining the team at PromptMed, Sherry worked in a Level II emergency department as a staff nurse. She is proficient in urgent care and occupational medicine, providing health care through the spectrum of life from infants to the geriatric patients. Sherry is also experience in travel health, including immunizations and medications used to prevent disease among international travelers. In addition to her duties at PromptMed, Sherry has provided health care on site at local industries and volunteers at Volunteers in Medicine. Sherry enjoys all aspects of health care and frequently boasts that she has the best job ever.
When not working, Sherry enjoys spending time with family and friends.
